Final report on geological surveys for the new units is complete. Including appendices, it totals approximately 6,000 pages
Ten months after the launch of the engineering-geological surveys at the site of the future construction of the new Dukovany units, the project has been completed with the handover of the final report. The complete document contains a geological, geophysical, geodetic, and geotechnical interpretation of all data, supporting documentation, measurements, and analyses obtained during the survey and laboratory tests. Including all appendices, it totals approximately 6,000 pages. The data from the report will be used to create a 3D model of the site, which will be utilised by designers, and the outputs will also form part of the supporting documentation for permitting procedures. The contract, worth several hundred million CZK, was carried out for KHNP by the Czech company ČEZ Energetické produkty.
