Whistleblowing Hotline

The hotline was created in compliance with the Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the Protection of Whistleblowers (henceforth Whistleblower Act) and is accessible 24/7.

Filing reports through the Whistleblowing Hotline ensures protection of the whistleblower from sanctions, discrimination, or other retaliation. In case of an anonymous report, the protection of the whistleblower is ensured from the moment their identity is revealed.

Elektrárna Dukovany II, a. s., in accordance with the Whistleblower Act, limits the categories of persons from whom it accepts and investigates reports under the  Whistleblower Act regime to:

  • persons performing work under a basic employment relationship (full-time employment, agreement to perform work, agreement on work activity, agency workers);
  • persons performing volunteer activities;
  • persons undertaking professional practice or internships; or
  • persons serving in a service relationship.

Other whistleblowers (e.g. business partners and other third parties) may also submit reports through the Hotline. These reports will be investigated objectively and independently; however, they will fall outside the scope of the Whistleblower Act.

Please note that your report concerning Elektrárna Dukovany II, a. s., may be forwarded to ČEZ, a. s. as the designated entity pursuant to Section 8(2) of the Whistleblower Act. If you do not wish your report to be forwarded to and investigated by ČEZ, a. s., please state this explicitly in your report.

The e-mail addresses of the Designated Persons listed above only serve to contact the persons to arrange a personal meeting, which is then used to file an oral report. Do NOT use these e-mails to file your written whistleblowing report.

As a whistleblower, you can also file your report to the Ministry of Justice Czech Republic.
